DYE-SUBLIMATION METAL PRINTS

Dye Sublimation - Luminous images that shine above the rest. Dye Sublumination is a process that combines fine art printing, high tech materials, and intense heat to produce a vibrant print fused to the surface of the aluminum sheet. The finished process is timeless (as well as modern) and lightweight for an easy hang. Dye sub prints work very well in humid, indoor environments. With proper care metal prints can last over 100 years.

DO I OFFER LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

Yes, each print is offered at a limited edition of a hundred. Each separate print is offered in various sizes until ninety prints have sold. Then the last ten are only sold in sizes of 30 x 45 and larger until they're all sold out. The price of the last ten will increase and the final ten prints will be sold numbered 10 - 1. When a print is close to selling out, I will release the information in my News section. Limited edition art increases the value of the art you purchase. I personally guarantee that I will not produce any more prints once a limited edition is sold out.

DO I PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY (COA)

I will provide a letter of authenticity for each of the prints which will be sent separately to you when a print is purchased. This will show proof of the art purchased and increase the value of your fine art.

ARE ARTISTS PROOFS AVAILABLE

Yes, artists proofs are available at a slightly higher cost. Artists proofs are only sold as Lumichrome Trulife Acrylic in sizes of 30 x 45, 40 x 60 and larger. These prints are unique and special because they're each personally signed on the back by me and sold after the regular edition is sold out. Only 10 will be available numbered from 10 to 1, example 10/1 AP. Prices will be 30 x 45 $2500, 40 x 60 $3500 and 48 x 72 $6000.

ARE VOLUME DISCOUNTS OFFERED

Yes, volume discounts are offered for purchases of multiple prints. For two prints you'll receive a 5% discount, for three prints you'll receive a 10% discount and for four or more you'll receive a 15% discount.

DO I OFFER CUSTOM PRINTS

Yes, I can upsize select photos to larger print sizes for custom prints. It depends on each print but its possible to enlarge some of them up to 120 inches horizontally. Most of the panorama's and some of the others can be greatly enlarged. If you have a special sized fine art photo request please send an email using my contact page.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE A PRINT SIZE FOR YOUR HOME

You can choose the right print size by measuring the area you're planning to use and determining which size fits the best. You'll want the print to fill in most of the area allowing some space around the print. I have provided samples of how different sized prints would look above a 7 foot couch.

HOW CAN YOU HANG YOUR ARTWORK

It would be best to hire a professional to hang your art however the smaller prints can be done by yourself. I would suggest having someone help when you hang it up. It is pretty simple to hang up using the provided hardware.

HOW DO I PROPERLY LIGHT MY ARTWORK

Proper lighting is essential to view your artwork at its finest. Specific LED lights with a Color Rendering Index (CRD) of 3000k to 3200k can render the best lighting. Other types of lighting will slowly cause the fading of your fine art print. The right lighting will bring out the fine details, highlights and vibrant colors of your prints. It will also ensure your prints have that special backlit glow and the 3D effect enabling you to see the stars dancing across the dark skies of my night images!

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PRINTS

The prints should be stored or displayed in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment. Avoid direct sunlight because direct sunlight will cause prints to fade. LED lights are highly recommended. Any other light source will slowly cause fading of your print.

HOW DO I CLEAN ACRYLIC AND METAL PRINTS

Lumachrome TruLife Antiglare Acrylic Prints: Windex works best. Any kind of non-ammonia glass cleaner and non-abrasive microfiber cloth.

Metal (Dye-sub) Prints: For smudges and fingerprints use a clean, non-abrasive microfiber cloth to wipe off the print. For any other type of cleaning use Non-ammonia glass cleaner or water can be used without harming the surface. Do not use cleaners containing ammonia, abrasives, or corrosive chemicals.
