A nightscape is an enchanting experience, offering a unique blend of beauty, tranquility, and wonder. A cloudless sky with minimal light pollution can provide amazing clarity revealing a breathtaking canvas of stars. The Milky Way stretches across the sky, appearing as a luminous band of stars usually rising in the southeast and setting in the southwest.
In addition, rare and annual celestial events such as meteor showers, Auroras and comets regularly occur in our night sky. Annual meteor showers such as the Perseids, Geminids and Leonids bring signature meteor showers to our skies every year. The aurora borealis is currently in its peak season which occurs every 11 years. The best views of these phenomena can be viewed in the northern sites of the world, mainly in the Arctic circle. There are new comets occurring almost every year such as the recent comet A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas) and recently comet Neo. Both of them were so bright that they could be seen without binoculars.
Sadly, most of the world's population are deprived from seeing the stars, Milky Way and celestial events because of worldwide light pollution. However, you can observe these amazing sites every night in your home or office without driving many miles away from the bright city lights. With the proper lighting you will see the stars dancing and sparkling on your walls! It's quite an amazing site that you can own and cherish for a lifetime.
"The stars are my passion. The night feeds my peace of mind. Together, they form my creative soul." Michael Buckley
