Alaska is still considered the last frontier and is the largest state of the United States. The forty ninth state showcases a huge variety of landscapes including magnificent mountains, huge glaciers, endless forests and a vast coastline. This state includes unique wildlife that can survive in one of the harshest environments in the world including grizzly bears, moose, caribou, wolves. In addition, there are several types of marine life such as sea otters, seals, whales, salmon, trout, steelhead and halibut.
